EMPOWERED by AM was born from a shared passion for training, confidence, and the belief that the gym can change far more than just the way you look.
We’re Adam and Mary, the founders behind the brand.
Our story began in 2022, when we met as members of the same gym. Over time, fitness became more than something we simply enjoyed. It became a lifestyle, a career, and eventually, something we would build together.
Mary went on to become the gym manager, while Adam became a personal trainer. Being surrounded by people at every stage of their fitness journey gave us a genuine appreciation for what the gym can represent — confidence, discipline, progress, and personal growth.
In 2023, we started dating. Today, we’re engaged and building our future together, with EMPOWERED becoming a huge part of that journey.
We created EMPOWERED by AM with one purpose: to help people feel confident enough to start.
Because we know the gym can feel intimidating. Starting something new can feel uncomfortable. But we also know the feeling that comes when you begin to realise what your body and mind are capable of.
Our goal is to create activewear that gives you the confidence to walk through the doors, show up for yourself, and train with purpose.
